"MOVIE MAGIC: CINEMA'S VISUAL EFFECTS"
BLADE RUNNER (1982) - OCTOBER, 2025

An educational film and lecture series I coordinated between Emily Carr University and the Visual Effects Society.
Professionals from the VFX industry presented films to animation and film students and the series was also open to the general public.
I had the pleasure to present the 1982 Ridley Scott classic, Blade Runner.

A lecture and screening series I ran while working at Encore VFX. I programmed a series of diverse titles that screened every two weeks, and I gave a presentation beforehand discussing the history, art and business of each film.
We held a successful bake sale to raise money for Breast Cancer that was tied into a screening of Mean Girls (2003). The event, "On Wednesdays We Wear Pink for Breast Cancer", was part of Breast Cancer awareness month.
The presentations became a big hit among some employees who would come just for them, but then ended up staying for the film.
